A short privacy note

Reflect’s waitlist page keeps things minimal. Here is the whole picture, without the legalese.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us in our database (Neon Postgres, hosted in the US) along with the page that referred you and your browser’s user-agent string. We use it for two things: telling you when Reflect is ready, and — once, shortly after you join — asking whether you’d be up for a fifteen-minute chat about how you keep track of your life. We don’t sell it or share it beyond the services named below.

The emails we send

Emails are sent from our own mailbox at reflectapp.site, hosted by Hostinger, who therefore handle delivery and see your address. If you reply, your reply lands in that same mailbox. Those emails contain a tiny invisible image and links that pass through our own domain, so we can tell whether an email was opened and whether a link was clicked. That measurement is joined to your PostHog record, so we know which emails were useful and which were noise. We record nothing else about what you do in your inbox, and mail clients like Apple Mail routinely load that image on their own — so our numbers are a rough signal, not surveillance.

Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. Use it and we stop emailing you immediately; your place on the waitlist stays exactly as it was.

Cookies and analytics — only if you say yes

Nothing beyond basic hosting logs runs until you accept the cookie banner. If you do accept, these tools start:

• Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session analytics (what gets clicked, how far people scroll). The email field is masked; Clarity never sees what you type in it.
• Meta Pixel & Conversions API — measures whether our ads led to signups. On signup, Meta receives a sha256-hashed version of your email (never the address itself), your IP, and browser details, used only for ad measurement and matching.
• TikTok Pixel — the same job for our TikTok ads: it learns that a page was viewed and that a signup happened, plus your IP and browser details. It never receives your email address.
• PostHog — product analytics, hosted in the EU with IP addresses anonymised: which pages and campaigns bring people here and where the signup flow loses them. If you sign up, your email is linked to that journey so we can understand which campaigns worked.

Decline, and none of that loads — the page works exactly the same.

Your choices

Change your mind anytime via Cookie choices in the page footer — withdrawing is one click, same as accepting was. To have your email removed from the waitlist, or to ask anything about your data, write to echai2905@gmail.com and we’ll sort it promptly.
